Dawn - my dog had a full month of antibiotics but didn't start to act normally until we got him a full round of steroids. Ask your vet about prednisone. Your dog may need Deramaxx - it is an anti inflammatory drug that dogs with arthritis can be given long term if necessary.
By the way, 8 months later, my dogs symptoms are back and we are doing the same round of drugs again UGH!

I believe the preditors for tick are being killed off. My two cats when they were a year old 1st contracted Lyme in 2005. A 3G transmitter went in near to my house within 6 to 8 months I noticed the ecology had changed. I was a conservasion area at one time. There were straing insects butterflies, wasps & bees vanished. The tick population increased. Its nothing to do with weather I don't think. I found a artical that military scientists delibratly infected tick with lyme disease after microwaving them. This then killed the preditors. Because the are a particular size & shape they are not effected by microwaves. This is then used as a vector. Like humans some pets are electrosensitive. There's a change in the Sodium ion's & other things like heavy metal consentrations are increased. Some people have been exposing their pets & themselves to radionics or quantum healing. In otherwords electronic medican in combination with NLP. It was band by the FDA at one time. But even they are confused as to what it is MIND CONTROL.

My dog was just diagnosed with Lyme Disease yesterday. The day before that she was running around normal and when she woke in the morning she wouldn't walk and was stiff. She has had only 3 rounds of doxycycline so far and she is the same. She just lays there. I did carry her outside to go to the bathroom. She did urinate. She is also eating and drinking fine. How long before she starts to walk and feel better?
