The Brussels Griffon was
initially bred to catch vermin in stables. He was initially bred from
a German Affenpinscher and a Belgian street dog. He was also mixed
with the Pug, which is responsible for the short-haired version, and also
the Ruby Spaniel, which is responsible for the almost human-like face.
He reaches about 7 to 8 inches, and weighs about 8 to 10 pounds. His
color can be red, black, beige, black or tan. This dog can make a
wonderful companion.
Training
The Brussels Griffon is curious and intelligent.
Sometimes this breed can be difficult to house train. This breed is
loyal and wishes to please.
Exercise
This breed enjoys walking and swimming. Due to his short stature, he makes a good apartment dog.

Health
The
Brussels Griffon is susceptible to hip and knee problems. He
can also have abnormal eyelash growth. He is prone to weight
gain.
